Dvar Torah
1) There are two intriguing Pesukim in Perek Chaf Heh regarding Shemitta that read: "If you (Klal Yisrael) will say: "What will we we eat in the seventh year? Behold! we will not sow and we will not gather our crop!" I will ordain My blessing for you in the 6th year and it will yield a crop sufficient for 3 years." (25:20,21)
Two questions immediately come to mind. Firstly, after learning all of the Halachos of Shemitta mentioned beforehand, it is pretty obvious why Klal Yisrael would be doubtful that they would have what to eat in the seventh year - why does the Torah add the seemingly extra words explaining that Klal Yisrael is worried that there will be a lack of food in the seventh year because "Behold! we will not sow or gather our crop"? Is that not obvious?
Secondly, why is Klal Yisrael getting rewarded for a lack of Bitachon in H-Shem? They express their doubt and H-Shem promises to give them 3 times more? What's going on here?
To answer these two questions i was thinking that perhaps it can be said that Klal Yisrael's statement is not an expression of a lack of doubt, rather on the contrary, it can be seen as the illustration of an inner battle, and the greatest triumph of undying trust and belief in H-Shem. This can be accomplished by splitting the Pasuk into two separate statements. The first is the Yetzer Hara's nagging voice in Klal Yisrael's heart whispering "What will we eat in the seventh year?" The words after this question can be seen not as the continuation of the question, but as the answer, the response of the Yetzer Tov and the final decision of the nation: "Behold! We will not sow and we will not gather our crop!" EVEN though perhaps there may be some reason to have the nagging doubt, still Klal Yisrael stands adamant and strong, and follows H-shem blindly with pure Emunah. For THAT they are rewarded with a crop 3 times of one in a regular year.
2) The Pasuk states: (25;49) "If his uncle or his cousin shall redeem him..." The Ba'al Haturim points out that the same letters that make up the words "His cousin" spell out " Ben - David". "...or his cousin / Ben - David shall redeem him..." a fascinating reference to Moshiach Ben David who will in fact redeem us, speedily, in our days.

2) ”If you keep saying things are going to be bad, you have a chance of being a prophet.” - Isaac B. Singer
